PROJECT MANAGER
Project Managers are responsible for working with our clients to define the scope, schedule and budget of a project and executing the project with a work plan. Project Managers are responsible for breaking a work plan into tasks, delegating those tasks to technical staff, and managing technical staff through the completion of those tasks within budget and on time. Project Managers are responsible for fostering communication between all parties involved and ensuring that TRICORD’s project delivery model is followed for all projects. Project Managers are also responsible for mentoring and teaching technical staff on a day‐to‐day basis by providing feedback on assigned tasks, giving insights to the big picture, challenging technical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build rapport with client’s team members (e.g., environmental staff, engineering, ops)
- Identifies and conveys opportunities to help meet client’s goals with new projects and to provide ʺvalue added servicesʺ on current projects
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects
- Define the project scope, schedule and budget with CRM/Manager and Client
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage project scope, schedule and budget
- Ensures project setup in Project Management System
- Ensures project billing terms match proposal and issued Purchase Order (PO)
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Assist with challenging regulatory and technical skills
- Continuously monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, critical path, problems and solutions
- Post‐project evaluations and assessment of results
- Quality assurance (QA) of work products
- Mentor and teach younger technical staff
- Adheres to TRICORD’s Corporate policies, procedures and guidance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of work experience with at least 5 years in project management capacity and/or Managed Revenue
- Knowledge of project management principles, techniques and tools
- Obtained “Certified Manager Certification” by Institute of Certified Professional Managers
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and technical skills relative to projects
- Proven experience in people management
- Proven experience in strategic planning
- Proven experience in change management and shifting priorities
- Proven leadership with setting goals, performance measures and mentoring technical staff
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to stay focused and meeting project goals
