CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) of Key Markets are tenured environmental health and safety professionals responsible for developing and maintaining strong long-term client relationships within a Key Market e.g., Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals and driving value to their clients by providing quality consulting services. The CRM is responsible for managing and meeting client expectations by supervising project delivery operations as defined by the client contracts and project proposals as well as all other client related commitments. The person in this position successfully resolves client requests, issues or change orders by leading the project delivery team to deliver on the ever-changing needs of our clients. The CRM also identifies opportunities to grow business, via an expansion of all services being provided to key clients. The person in this position is responsible for meeting financial commitments on client related projects, activities and functions. The CRM manages KPIs related to the delivery of revenue, project cost management and client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages and creates strong, ongoing relations with numerous clients in the key market
  • Protects the reputation and image of the firm both internally and externally
  • Understands client’s (individual, team, and company) goals and expectations
  • Identifies, strategizes, and conveys opportunities to help meet client’s goals with new projects and to provide value added services on current projects
  • Leads the planning of project scope, schedule and budget
  • Leads project scheduling, and reporting
  • Leads scheduling and communication of invoicing timing
  • Provides direction and support to overall project team
  • Assists with solving challenging technical and regulatory problems
  • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project goals
  • Report on progress of the project to the client and other external stakeholders (e.g., agencies)
  • Collaborates with Marketing and CRMs to extend additional services to clients
  • Quality Control (QC) of all client work products
  • Control invoicing, and project budgets
  • Mentor, manage, and teach Project Managers and younger technical staff
  • Provide salary recommendations, enforce company policies and promote company culture
  • Participate in determining need, and recruiting of staff
  • Adheres to TRICORD’s Corporate HSE policies, procedures and guidance
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 10+ years of work experience with at least 5 years in project management capacity and/or Managed Revenue
    • Knowledge of project management principles, techniques and tools
    • Knowledge of environmental regulations and technical skills relative to projects
    • Proven experience in people management
    • Proven experience in strategic planning
    • Proven experience in change management and shifting priorities
    • Proven leadership with setting goals, performance measures and mentoring technical staff
    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time
    • Ability to stay focused and meeting project goals
