TRICORD\u2019s Marilyn Stegemann and her daughter, Emma, donate their time and talents to Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) as puppy-raisers and puppy-sitters! For two years, they puppy-raised a wonderful lab named, Rondo. As puppy-raisers, Marilyn and Emma taught Rondo good manners and provided socialization experiences \u2013 essentially, he went everywhere with them. Other responsibilities included proper grooming and exposure to other animals, public transportation, traffic, crowds, loud noises, construction sites, and sporting events, to name a few. When not in his vest (work attire), Rondo enjoyed playing tug-o-war, running alongside other pet dogs, and napping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
